About This Course

Welcome to Trinity’s Exam Prep Orientation! This presentation will formally introduce you to the structure and schedule of this intense 6-month journey you have decided to take to advance as a medical laboratory scientist. You will hear a little bit about the facilitator and meet some of your lecturers. We will also introduce you to some basic tools like our online library, and study tips to aid you with a successful outcome, i.e., passing the MLS ASCPi BOC exam. So, bring your snacks, bring your questions and prepare to have your cameras on to virtually meet everyone! We look forward to beginning this excited journey with you as you open the door to possibilities 🙂

Marion is a medical laboratory scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She also has a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Management and completed a specialist in blood banking certificate program. She has many years experience in the blood transfusion service in the U.S and in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to the work done at Trinity she is an adjunct immunohaematology lecturer and provides non technical and technical advice to persons in need of blood, medical laboratory technologists respectively.
