About This Course
The American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC) have been certifying laboratory professionals since 1928. In 2014, ASCP BOC started using questions from the U.S data base for international certification exams. This means international candidates for certification exams must have the same knowledge as medical laboratory scientists educated in the U.S
Trinity’s ASCPi Exam Prep provides a review of that knowledge for international candidates. In this information session we will answer your questions about our exam prep. We will also navigate the ASCP website to help you determine your eligibility for the MLS certification exam.

Marion Carrillo
MS, MLS (ASCP)cm
Marion is a medical laboratory scientist certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology. She also has a Masters degree in Clinical Laboratory Management and completed a specialist in blood banking certificate program. She has many years experience in the blood transfusion service in the U.S and in Trinidad and Tobago. In addition to the work done at Trinity she is an adjunct immunohaematology lecturer and provides non technical and technical advice to persons in need of blood, medical laboratory technologists respectively.
